When Reign became our loyal pup,
She was just four months old.
She stole our hearts quite quickly.
She brought us joy untold.
Ten years we were together.
Ten years she reigned supreme.
Our friends and neighbors loved her.
Our diva was the queen.
Unlike most dogs of her breed,
She did not like to swim.
The water just was not her friend.
She did not like wet skin.
We knew when her reign ended,
Our tears would overflow,
But God has called her home now,
And we must let her go.
Thank you Reign for all the joy.
Thank you for your love.
Thank you for your time here.
You fit us like a glove.
We’re grateful to our God above,
Who sent you to our home,
But now you must return to Him,
To heaven, your true home.
