Our purpose this Father’s Day is to share the wisdom and humor of our father’s words while using the headings of an article listing the 10 characteristics of “great fathers.” We want real not ideal words from our wonderfully real dads. The quotes under the headings are the words of our real fathers, living and deceased; they are imprinted on our hearts and minds, and impact our lives continually. We call their language DadSpeak.
Traits of a Great Father
- He teaches his children to appreciate things.
You’re smart.
- He’s open-minded.

- He accepts that his kids aren’t exactly like him.
I’m glad you were born.
- He spends quality time with his children.
